Privacy and Data Protection

Stichting IFLA Foundation (SIF) works with the data of European Union citizens, and therefore is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Independently, SIF aims to optimise the quality of personal data processing security, with a balance of privacy, functionality and safety.

To this end, we abide by IFLA’s general Data Protection Policy, which sets out rules for how we process personal data of our members, affiliates, active Professional Unit volunteers, employees, guests, visitors and external connections, inside and outside of the European Union.

This Policy extends to the fully or partially-automated processing of personal data and included attachments under the responsibility of SIF.
